Model B: Typical results of analysis of "lesson" pre- and post-questionnaires
The questionnaire required students to say to what extent they disagreed or agreed with a list of 24 questions or statements about industry using a 5-point Lickert scale, which went from strongly disagree, disagree, neutral, agree, strongly agree.
When analysing the results, the scores are referred to as A, B, C, D and E respectively.
The horizontal scale on the bar chart left to right, therefore, goes from strongly disagree & disagree (scores A & B indicating negative perceptions about industry) to neutral (score C) to agree & strongly agree (scores D & E indicating positive perceptions about industry)
Before lesson scores are shown in thus & show a spread of scores around the neutral score C
After lesson scores are shown in thus & show a definite shift towards the positive perception end of the chart

A total of 111 students across
10 classes completed the pre- and post- lesson questionnaires and the analysis
indicates a significant and remarkable improvement in more positive perceptions
by the end of the lessons.
310 very positive perceptions before the lessons increased to 924 after the lessons.
41% of positive or strongly positive perceptions before the lessons increased to 69% at the end of the lessons.
The effect size is an amazing 1.5 (A score of 0.2 is low, 0.5 is medium and 0.8 is considered high)
The statistical significance is a probability of >99%
