For industrialists:

We run a number of training sessions that assist industrialists to make the best use of their time and resources when making links with schools and colleges. Topics can include:

  • Why do companies get involved in B-E links and what are the benefits

  • What are the constraints on companies and ways to overcome / work round them

  • What are the opportunities for companies and what schemes are on offer too

  • Ways to enrich your links to maximise the impact of your inputs.

  • A look at secondary school/college examination courses with a focus on the parts relevant to Business-Education links

  • Ways that industrialists can maximise the impacts of their inputs for schools/colleges (with a particular focus on site visits by students).

Please contact us to discuss your requirements.

Current examples include:

  • Annual delivery of parts of a 4-day course (course initially designed by BEM in 2005) at the National Science Learning Centre in York (2005 – present)

  • Industrial Forum workshops on aspects of business-education links for Chemicals Northwest member companies (2007 - present)
